Terms of Use

Payky lets users connect with Pubky Ring, publish payment methods to Pubky-backed storage, and share a public page so other people can choose how to pay them.

Payky is a publishing and linking tool. It does not custody funds, execute payments on your behalf, or act as a bank, exchange, broker, escrow agent, or fiduciary.

You are responsible for your own use of the service, including:

• keeping your Pubky Ring approval flow and devices secure;
• making sure the payment details you publish are accurate and belong to you or your business;
• complying with applicable laws, sanctions, and payment-network rules; and
• reviewing payment details before sending or sharing them.

Payment methods, profile details, and invoice-style request links you publish through Payky are intended to be public or shareable. You should not publish confidential or sensitive information unless you are comfortable making it available to anyone who can access the relevant page or link.

Payky relies on third-party and network services, including Pubky infrastructure, Vercel, CoinGecko, and the payment apps or websites you choose to open. Those services are outside Payky's control and may have their own terms, privacy policies, fees, and availability limits.

You may not use Payky to:

• publish fraudulent, unlawful, abusive, or misleading payment information;
• interfere with the service, bypass security controls, or attempt unauthorized access;
• introduce malware, automated abuse, or denial-of-service traffic; or
• violate the rights of Payky, its users, or third parties.

Payky may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We do not guarantee that the service will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.

Payky is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

You are responsible for independently verifying payment destinations, invoice amounts, currency conversions, and any third-party services you use from a Payky page.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Payky and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, business opportunity, or digital assets arising out of or related to your use of the service.

We may suspend or terminate access to Payky if we believe your use violates these terms, creates risk for the service or other users, or is otherwise unlawful or abusive.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version here and revise the effective date above. Continued use of Payky after an update means you accept the revised terms.
