A few things to know

Does someone need a Payky account to pay me?

No. Anyone can open your page and choose a payment method. They complete the payment in their wallet, payment app or banking app, which may have its own account requirements.

Where does the money go?

Directly to the wallet or account you’ve shared. Payky displays your payment details and links; it doesn’t hold or move your money.

Which app do I need to create my page?

Use Bitkit or Pubky Ring with a Pubky identity to connect. Once connected, you can manage your page in the browser. We’ll help you find an app on the connection screen.

What will people be able to see?

Your public name, photo and the payment details you publish. Only add bank details and other information you’re comfortable making public.

Can I change my payment methods later?

Yes. Add, edit or remove the methods you manage in Payky. Update details supplied by Bitkit or another app in that app. Your page link stays the same while you use the same Pubky identity.

What happens when someone scans my payment QR?

A Paykit-enabled wallet, such as Bitkit, can find the wallet-supported payment methods linked to your identity. Bank details and payment apps are available on your web page.
